A house concert is when the host opens up their home and invites you to share in a performance by one of their favorite musicians. It's a chance to meet the performers and get to know them in a way that wouldn't be possible in most other venues. You can purchase merchandise and have them sign and personalize your new CD.

House concerts have become more and more popular in the last several years because when you host a house concert you are not only getting the opportunity to hear your favorite artist/band up close and personal but you are also providing an opportunity to share that experience with your friends as well as providing the artist an opportunity to expand their fan base and share the stories and experiences that bring about the music they write and play in a much more intimate and inviting setting.

The Yard has been hosting house concerts since January 2008. We take pride in having some of the top artists grace our stage and look forward to bringing friends and family many more new and exciting experiences.

For over 10 years we have been opening our home to our favorite Trop Rock and Independent Artists to come share their music and the stories about the songs they write. We are proud to say that The Yard has been voted 7x as the winner of the #1 Trop Rock House Concert Venue of the Year by the Trop Rock Music Alliance.

We invite our friends & family to come join us and enjoy great music, fun times and good friends! Because we are a private house concert, there is not an “admission fee” but it is a suggested $15.00-$20.00 per person donation that goes 100% to the artists. (We keep none of the money.) The artists will usually have CDs and other merchandise you can purchase directly from them, as well.

As our friends & family, we hope you will join us for all of your favorite musicians and to discover new artists and music along the way! We're all one big happy family at The Yard and if you love good music and good friends you’re sure to find it in our back yard!

Please bring a dish/snack to share with everyone, your lawn chairs and your favorite beverage of choice. There are restrooms for your convenience and The YARDOME (our large covered pavilion) provides cover so the party goes on rain or shine! Parking is available in our yard and along the street.
